Why we do not charge for storage
The standard 3PL model charges rent per pallet per month. It is a reasonable way to price a warehouse and a terrible way to price a cash on delivery operation, because it puts your interests and your warehouse's interests directly at odds.
Under per-pallet pricing you are penalised for holding buffer stock. So you hold less. Then a good week empties the shelf, orders wait on a restock, delivery slows, and buyers refuse parcels that arrive late. You saved €40 in storage and lost several hundred in refusals.
We make our money on the movement, not the shelf: fulfillment, shipping, confirmation and collection. Stock sitting still earns us nothing, and charging you for it would only encourage you to run too lean.
Free storage is not generosity. It is the pricing that stops you running out of stock in the middle of a good week.
To be explicit about what is and is not free: receiving, shelving, pallet space and duration are €0. You pay when a parcel moves: fulfillment (free out of Romania, €1 to €2.20 elsewhere), shipping from €3.31, €1.20 per lead for confirmation, 4% COD collection on delivered orders under $45, and returns only when a parcel actually comes back. Where the warehouses are
Four hubs, twelve destinations
Live from the rate card. One warehouse usually covers far more of Europe than people expect.
Romania is where most sellers start: free fulfillment, the cheapest shipping on the network, and nine countries reachable without moving a pallet. Bulgaria exists mainly for its flat €1 returns on the core routes. Spain covers Iberia and the islands. Italy serves its domestic market.
03 · Inbound
Getting your stock in
Two routes, and since July 2026 the choice carries a cost consequence.
Ship it yourself. You arrange freight and customs and deliver to the warehouse. Fine if you already have a freight partner and a broker.
We source and import it. Tell us what you want on the sourcing request form and we come back with factory price, freight and duties as a single delivered number, usually within 24 hours.
Either way, the important thing is that it arrives in bulk. The EU began phasing out the €150 customs duty exemption on 1 July 2026, so a flat €3 duty now applies per item type. Ship one parcel per order from outside the EU and every order carries it. Import in bulk and you pay it once per product per shipment, then every subsequent order moves domestically with no customs event at all. At 500 orders a month that is the difference between roughly €1,500 and €15. The de minimis page runs it properly.
04 · Quantity
How much stock to actually hold
Free storage removes the cost pressure but not the risk. Inventory is still your money sitting on a shelf, and a product that stops selling does not become free because the shelf is.
- First batch: two to three weeks of expected sales. Enough to learn from, small enough that being wrong is survivable. Usually low hundreds of units on one product.
- Reorder at about three weeks of cover, not when the shelf looks empty. Supplier lead times do not shrink because you got busy.
- Once a product is proven, hold more. This is where free storage genuinely pays: the buffer that protects your delivery rate costs you nothing to keep.
- Do not buy a container for a bulk discount on an unproven product. A thousand units of a guess is a thousand units of a guess at any unit price.

05 · Returns
The shelf everybody forgets
In cash on delivery a share of parcels always comes back. Refused at the door, nobody home, wrong address. Those parcels return to the warehouse, get checked, and go back into sellable stock.
Returned stock is still your stock, and at volume it is a meaningful slice of your inventory: sellers who ignore it discover a third of their goods sitting in a corner three months later while they reorder more. And return cost varies enormously by route: free on five routes out of Romania, a flat €1 on the Bulgaria hub's core routes, and the full shipping rate on others. You are charged only when a parcel actually comes back.
