Everything a COD operation needs, in one place

Cash on delivery is not one problem, it is six. Stock has to sit near the buyer, somebody has to confirm the order, a courier has to deliver fast and collect cash, refused parcels have to come back, and the money has to reach your bank. Miss one and the others stop working.

01 · The problem

The six problems COD actually presents

People come looking for a "COD solution" and usually mean one of these. It is worth naming all six, because solving five of them is the same as solving none.

  • Distance. Stock two to four weeks away produces refusals, because the buyer has not paid and has had a month to change their mind.
  • Junk leads. A form with no payment step attracts accidental taps, wrong numbers and people who meant it at the time. Ship them all and you fund a lot of round trips.
  • Cash handling. Somebody has to physically collect money at thousands of doors, reconcile it and remit it.
  • Returns. Refused parcels have to travel back, be checked, and re-enter sellable stock, or your inventory quietly disappears.
  • Customs. Since 1 July 2026 a flat €3 duty applies per item type, so a per-parcel import model pays it on every single order.
  • Cash flow. You pay for ads today and collect after delivery. That gap is real working capital and it widens every time you scale.

A cheaper courier does not fix a confirmation problem. A better ad does not fix a customs problem. COD only works when all six are handled together.

02 · The answer

What we provide against each one

1

Distance → four European warehouses

Romania, Bulgaria, Spain and Italy, reaching twelve destinations across eleven countries. Delivery in 24 hours domestically and 48 across most of Eastern Europe. Storage is free. See warehousing.

2

Junk leads → every order called first

Native-language agents, up to seven attempts, €1.20 per lead rather than per attempt. Unconfirmed leads never become parcels. See the call centre.

3

Cash handling → carriers collect, we reconcile

Eight carriers across the network collect at the door and remit. The 4% COD collection fee on delivered orders under $45 covers that handling.

4

Returns → back to the shelf, charged only if used

Free on five routes out of Romania, a flat €1 on the Bulgaria hub's core routes, the shipping rate on others. Returned stock re-enters sellable inventory.

5

Customs → bulk import, one entry per restock

Stock enters the EU once, in bulk, and every order after that ships domestically with no customs event. The de minimis page shows what that saves.

6

Cash flow → weekly payouts to your own bank

Every Friday, to your bank account, not to a wallet you have to withdraw from. It does not remove the gap, but it makes it short and predictable enough to plan around.

03 · Limits

What we do not do

Worth stating plainly so nobody arrives with the wrong expectation.

  • We do not run your ads. Finding the product and buying the traffic is your half. We handle everything after the lead exists.
  • We do not guarantee a confirmation or delivery rate. Those depend on your product, price and ad far more than on us, and anyone quoting you a number in advance is guessing.
  • We do not handle fragile, temperature-controlled or heavily regulated goods. The network is built for parcels in the 300 g to 1.2 kg band.
  • We are not a compliance service. GPSR, VAT registration and your EU Authorised Representative are real obligations and belong with specialists.
  • We do not serve every carrier. Fan Courier, Speedy and Econt are significant in Romania and Bulgaria but are not on our routes. If a specific carrier is a requirement, ask first.

04 · Onboarding

Getting started

Tell us the product and the market

On a call. We will tell you which warehouse is cheapest for your route, including when the answer is not the one you expected.

Get stock in

Ship it yourself, or use the sourcing desk for a single delivered price including factory cost, freight and duties.

Point your form at the dashboard

Leads arrive as they are submitted. No card, no checkout, no store required.

Run traffic and watch the right number

Cost per delivered order, not cost per lead. The confirmation outcomes tell you whether a problem is traffic or product.

05 · Rates

What it costs

Published in full, because you should be able to model this before talking to anyone. Storage free, fulfillment free out of Romania and €1 to €2.20 elsewhere, shipping from €3.31, call centre €1.20 per lead, COD collection 4% on delivered orders under $45, returns free to €5 by route and charged only when used.

Complete tables and a calculator are on the fees page, and the COD Europe guide runs the full profit model on your own numbers.

FAQ

Questions people ask

In practice it means handling the six things cash on delivery requires: stock held near the buyer, phone confirmation of every order, fast local delivery, cash collection at the door, returns handling, and getting the money back to you. Solving only some of them does not work, because the failures compound.

No. Finding the product and buying the traffic is your half of the job. We handle everything from the moment a lead exists: confirmation, warehousing, delivery, cash collection, returns and payouts.

No, and be sceptical of anyone who does. Delivery and confirmation rates are driven mostly by your product, your price and what your ad promises. What we control is that every lead is called properly in the right language before anything ships, and that the parcel arrives in 24 to 48 hours.

Fragile goods, anything temperature controlled, and heavily regulated categories. The network is built around parcels in the 300 g to 1.2 kg band, which is also where the shipping rates are most favourable.

Cash collected by the courier is reconciled and paid out weekly, every Friday, to your own bank account rather than to a wallet you have to withdraw from. Plan for the gap between paying for ads and receiving that money, because it is real working capital.
